Area Aggregates core business is the mining, extraction, processing, handling and sale of construction aggregates (sand, gravel and limestone).
 
Summary
Oversees the general aggregate plant operations, maintenance, and production of the processing operation. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for general aggregate plant operations, maintenance, and production of the processing operation. 
• Inspects, cleans and performs repairs on mechanical equipment related to the processing operations. 

 
Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, memorandums, safety information, and hazard labels, etc.
• General mechanical skills
• Good vision, depth perception, and hearing.
• Welding and mechanical skills preferred.

 
Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid CDL and driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of the general operating principals for the processing plant.
• Working knowledge of plant processing.
• Knowledge of all related safety guidelines and procedures.
• Prior aggregate mining or similar mining experience required.
