Summary
The Electronic Technician will work throughout the state of Ohio, supporting Kokosing heavy highway and heavy industrial projects, asphalt plants, and gravel plants.  

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of some or all of the following:
  • Low voltage DC systems typically found on equipment and vehicles and two-way radio communication equipment.
  • Security and phone systems
  • Automated machine control systems integrating computer control with hydraulics and electric on equipment, telematics and other various electrical systems.
  • Specialized equipment utilizing PLC controls for process control in production applications

 
Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of DC voltage distribution, controls, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of two-way radio equipment installation, setup, and maintenance
• Knowledge of telephone systems (installation, programming)
• Knowledge of security system installation, setup,and maintenance
• Knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems and configurations
• Ability to be flexible and learn new systems, applying what you already know
• Good mechanical skills
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Good work ethic and the ability to work through problems with the end in mind
• Good communication skills and the ability to work alone or in a group

 
Education and Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license
