Asphalt Milling Machine Operator
Kokosing Construction is looking for an Asphalt Milling Machine Operator for their Asphalt / Heavy Highway operations in the Central Ohio area. Summary
The Asphalt Operator will be able to operate a variety of equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating asphalt milling machine (specifically Road Tec RX 400, also Wirtgen W 120 & 210’s); may also operate asphalt rollers, road wideners, broom tractors, rubber tire back hoes, and other pieces of equipment.
- Responsible for daily maintenance as required.
- Some travel may be necessary (within the state).
Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of proper operating procedures of multiple types of equipment
- Must be capable of performing minor repairs.
- Must be able to do a competent inspection of the equipment including fluids
- Must be able to apply and retain information provided in crew meetings
- Must have a valid driver’s license; Class B CDL with tank and Hazmat required.
