Description

Summary:
Business Development is responsible to pursue, procure, plan, develop and coordinate construction pursuits for water/wastewater treatment plant and industrial alternative delivery projects.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Lead team in preparation of proposal responses and interviews for your pursuits.
  • Recommend engineering and subcontractor partners.Ensure project activities comply with company and contract requirements to support overall construction schedule.Responsible for coordination of preconstruction services and design-build services for the project.
  • Participate in personnel planning and administration, work assignments, evaluations, construction planning and design, application of construction methods, resolution of design conflicts, constructability reviews, etc.
  • Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings.
  • Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of design and construction, etc in support of overall project.
  • As part of client outreach, attend conferences and participate on relevant committees, participate in development of appropriate marketing collateral (presentations, brochures, etc).
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
  • Significant travel is involved with the position, mostly throughout Indiana.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4-year degree.
  • Five (5) years construction and/or engineering experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana is preferred.
