Position Summary:

Provide expertise in media related learning technologies, visual communication, artistic vision, technical direction, and media production for the design, development, and delivery of media rich learning environments. Occasional travel to project work sites to collaborate with subject matter experts is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce concise, clear, and interactive instructional materials for web-based and instructor-led training

• Analyze complex technical content and write engaging and accurate scripts within set deadlines

• Use adult learning theory and eLearning design principles to develop courses that are interactive/engaging

• Design and develop visual and interactive learning objects for delivery in multiple formats and platforms (e.g. interactive learning modules, videos, graphics, animations, data visualizations)

• Implement all phases of instructional media production process (planning, storyboarding, shooting video and photos, editing, post-production and motion graphics)

• Comply with accessibility and copyright laws, as well as Kokosing branding and communications standards

• Efficiently manage time and workload in a fast-paced environment

• Collaborate proactively with Team Members in learning design process

• Test and troubleshoot courses

Education and Experience:

• Three (3) plus years of experience as a learning designer, interactive media designer, or similar role.
• Experience developing, implementing and evaluating content material of learning management systems (LMS) using SCORM, AICC or xAPI (Tin Can), as well as experience using ISD models (e.g. ADDIE, SAM).
• Advanced degree or related experience in instructional technologies, adult learning and development, and or instructional design.

KnOWLEDGE, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of various creative software and eLearning authoring tools, specifically Articulate Storyline
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, Illustrator, etc.
• Possess a high level of computer literacy of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of, and or certification, utilizing industry process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Strong creative aptitude in interactive, multi-media content design and video production.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
