Summary
Safely operate the high wall loader to load the haul trucks for production.  In addition, occasionally safely operate a front end loader while loading customer trucks up to 12 hours a day. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the high wall loader to load the haul trucks for production.
• Safely operate a front end loader while loading customer trucks up to 12 hours a day.
• Responsible for yard and storage pile maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and cleanup on the plant as needed.
• Responsible for following accepted safe operating practices in all areas of production, maintenance, inspections, and housekeeping.
• Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and will be familiar with recommended operating procedures, operating limits and recommended practices and expectations for safety, maintenance, production and repair.

 
Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, memorandums, safety information, and hazard labels, etc.
• General mechanical skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good vision, depth perception, and hearing.

 
Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of the general operating principals for the processing plant.
• Knowledge of all related safety guidelines and procedures.
• Prior aggregate mining or similar mining experience required.
