Location Summary
Olen-Fredericktown is a Sand and Gravel plant, which was built in 2002 and came on line in June of 2003. Current production volume is 400K ton per year. Significant projects over the next three years include relocation of field conveyor system, determine method of extraction (dredge or dragline), conveyance of material at road crossing.
Job Description
Manage the supervision of employees, materials and assets involved in the mining, processing, stockpiling, loading and shipping. Implement operating procedures, policies and best practices that achieve long and short-term goals in safety, quality, production, finance, asset management, environmental sustainability and mine planning. Ensure company safety and environmental compliance for all mining related activities. Construct long-range plans with financial justifications. Inspire team to constantly develop and implement action items designed to reduce costs and improve profitability. Consistently produce and ship aggregates that meet quality specifications. Provide leadership, training and promote a team concept throughout the facility. Implement public relations program to ensure excellent neighbor relations.
