Kokosing Industrial is seeking an entry-level Graphic Designer to support our marketing and business development team. The team is seeking a creative individual to produce impactful designs on materials from proposals, brochures, website, social media that adhere to the Kokosing brand. The team will look to the successful candidate to create innovative brand-relevant ideas that clearly and succinctly communicate our message.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal and external marketing needs through efficient execution of the design process, from concept through production.
  • Provide graphic design support and layout for all proposals, presentations and responses to RFPs/RFQs or assist with such efforts that cater to specific target audiences.
  • Design all materials related to print/online advertising, social media, marketing collateral, and newsletters.
  • Monitor and update existing photography and video libraries; shoot/manage new photography and video as needed.
  • Oversee and maintain marketing department templates, styles and standards.
  • Create and execute special projects as needed.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to successfully execute projects.
  • Work with team to ensure all deliverables are consistently aligned with corporate standards.
  • Amicably work with and accept direction from various stakeholders, and business development and marketing team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Skills and Abilities:
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of current trends in printing, typography, photography and video.
  • Internet savvy and must be comfortable working on a PC.
  • Takes initiative, is well-organized, persistent, tactful and enthusiastic
  • Works well with all types and levels of people (internal and external) without close supervision
  • Possess good time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:
  • Two or 4-year degree from college or university in graphic design, visual arts, communications design or related field
  • Strong aptitude in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office with an in-depth knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Lightroom; must show ability to use a mix of all software platforms to create design solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Photography/videography experience a plus
  • Email campaign experience a plus
