Kokosing Industrial is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work in our business development and marketing group. In this position, a strong emphasis will be on responding and preparing qualification and proposal requests from Clients. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with business development managers and the marketing group. Additionally, the role includes collaboration with estimating and operations groups, and external consultants and partners. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of marketing strategies and plans that increase our exposure, strengthen our brand, and increase our business.
• Serve as the project manager for the coordination, writing, editing and production of proposals, presentations and responses to RFPs/RFQs or assist with such efforts.
• Oversee and maintain marketing information systems (project data sheets, project and resume databases, boilerplate) for use in written collateral
• Initiate and write project data sheets and resumes for use in our written collateral
• Work with marketing and business development teams to develop new and update existing marketing collateral (brochures, newsletter, LinkedIn, website, award submittals, advertisements, tradeshows, etc.)
• Work with photographer to secure marketing quality photos of projects and events
• Work with team to maintain consistent branding in line with corporate standards
• Lead assigned marketing and public relations activities
• Perform quality control on proposals and other marketing tasks
• Other duties as assigned.

• Attention to detail (Proposals must respond properly to RFP)
• Takes initiative, is well-organized, persistent, tactful and enthusiastic
• Works well with all types and levels of people (internal and external) without close supervision
• Possess good time management skills and ability to balance short-term deadlines against long-term goals
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Strong communication skills (consistent, proactive, verbal and written)

 
Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from 4 year college or university in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or related field
• 2-3 years experience preferably in the AEC industry (architecture, engineering and/or construction)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; Adobe InDesign
• CRM database experience a plus
